1. FunLink Login

Click on forget password and enter the email address that you registered with. A password will be sent to you within 24 hours. If you still need help, write to info@funlink.com.sg.

You can log in to setting and to change your userid and password. Do remember to write your new password somewhere. The next time you login, the system will capture the new password or userid. More information on password and e-mail FAQ below.

You just need to include your e-mail address and password. That’s simple.

2. Membership Options

Membership is completely FREE with NO expiry date. You can simply open an account at NO charge with the following features:

  • Add your profile and one photo
  • Browse the whole Member profile with advance filter
  • Send interesting virtual gift to boost member sincerity rate
  • Send nudge to Members that you fancy
  • Read about interesting compatibility survey

Apart from sending limited virtual gift and 'nudges' to interested members, you can also sign up our subscription plans.

As a subscribed Member, you benefit the following:

  • Send unlimited messages in your inbox
  • Send super nudge with top up virtual credit to your members
  • Add up more photos (up to 5 photos) in your profile with ready virtual credits
  • See who's got you as a favorite
  • Receive instant/daily email alerts about new matches and many more
  • Increase your virtual credit for one month free subscription.
  • Talk to our dating practitioner on any problems you encounter

Normal Premium - Allow you to write free text to any members

Deluxe Premium - Allow other free members to write to you and you to write free text to anyone

We offer normal premium members 1 month, 3 months and 6 months subscription. For deluxe member, we offer 1 month and 3 months.

Check out our price list when you open an account with us. There is no obligation that you must sign up any plans. We do not believe in hard selling any plan.

All charges will appear as Funlink on your credit card statement. Your credit/debit card will be charged as soon as you submit the payment.

We accept a wide range of credit and debit card payments through paypal They are:

  • MasterCard
  • Visa
  • Electron
  • America Express

To cancel your subscription, you need to set the profile to 'No' before clicking 'save'.

No. If you choose to renew under setting and it lapses after your expiry date, no refund will be made. You may cancel the plan or close the account.

If you're having trouble with your billing information not being accepted or saved, it could be due to:

  • Incorrect/invalid credit card number
  • Expired credit card number
  • Credit card over limit

Please try re-entering your information. If you're still having problems, please e-mail us at payment@funlink.com.sg

If you keep seeing the same face every time you search, and you have no intention to contact them, simply click on 'Hide this profile' on their profile page. They'll never know you've done it and you'll get a better search result.

3. Search

It allows you to specify the types of FunLink profiles you want to see base on age, nationality and gender. You can conduct an unlimited number of searches by selecting the preferences and characteristics.

This button is created for members to report if any members deliberately spam mails or indicate defamatory remarks either in their profile or other member’s inbox.

It allows you to narrow down your search to specific criteria such as smoker, non smoker, drinker, non drinker and etc.

4. Messages

We respect your privacy and we keep your actual email address confidential. You'll never see your email address displayed on funlink.com.sg. All written communication from other FunLink will be directed to your FunLink Mailbox and NOT to your private email address. We aim to keep FunLink a stalker-free site for all.

Yes, if you subscribe to our plan, just go to 'Sent Messages' in the Messages page.

All mails that you send to others are automatically saved for up to one month. You can view it by going to 'Messages Sent' on your personalized homepage.

For a start, it may be them. You may want to take another look at your profile. Have you included a recent best photo in your profile or simply a photo taken many years ago? Is the photo clear or blur? What have you written in your self-description? In term of self-description, have you written enough for the other members to know you?

Yes, we can. If you are not good at writing, you can try out pre-prepared self description features. Just click on wizard and the system will write on your behalf with some MCQ questions asked.

We do want everyone to be friends and to network but we also know from experience that sometimes you just don't want to see or hear someone for one reason or another. To block a FunLinker member, click 'Block this Member' on their profile. It stops a member from sending you messages. The other member will receive a positive message indicating that you are 'busy' and would not be able to reply for a long time. The other members will not be offended and he or she will not be able to nudge or send you any message.

This is a one way method. If you like to unblock someone, you have to search for his or her userid in the databse. We recommend you only to unblock someone when you really do not want to see him or her again for whatever reasons. 

5. Privacy Settings

It lets you decide exactly who sees what, by controlling the visibility of your profile.

You can add them to your Favorites List by clicking 'Add to Favorites' on their profile page.

You can view their popularity status, the number of super nudges, nudges, virtual gifts and the birthday reminder.

6. Nudge

You can call it FLIRTING in a nicer way. Well, you can nudge back if you fancy them, need not if you don't, it is all right. This is not a marriage offer and there is no obligation that both of you must get married when you nudge at each other. Who knows, you may fall for the members' outside friends or siblings when you get to know them well for external contact.

Press on the nudge button on the member full profile. You can only nudge them once. For 'super nudge' you can nudge them multiple times provided you have the credit balance.

You are lucky if someone nudges at you. Don't wait and if you fancy them, nudge back. However, if they nudge at you, and you definitely DON'T fancy them, don't nudge back. It is okay and they are not offended.

7. Profile

Creating and posting a profile is free and takes only a few minutes. There will be a series of questions where we need to capture and verify. We only accept singles and if you are married, we may restrict you as our members. Once your profile is complete, we'll review it and post it on the site within 48 hours. You only need to update your profile once unless you have things to edit on a later stage (change photo).

Simply go to 'Edit my profile' on your homepage and click 'Save and continue' on the section of the profile you want to update. Any text profile updated will be subjected to verification to ensure there is no vulgar language appearing which may make other members uncomfortable.

FunLink welcomes all 21 and above single professionals especially Singaporeans, Permanent Resident or employment pass holder to participate in this networking session. We do want everyone on our site to feel comfortable - which means no freaky, weird or rude stuff. We review every profile manually to make sure that they're not going to make anyone else feel uncomfortable and we reserve the right to revise our guidelines from time to time

Yes, however we are not setting very strict rules except the following:

  • Any direct contact information (ie email addresses, URLs, ICQ/instant messenger IDs, phone numbers, full names, addresses)
  • Any location or descriptive information that threatens a member's anonymity
  • Abusive language of any kind (e.g. racism, sexism etc.)
  • Discussion of description of illegal acts or behavior (i.e. drug use, violence, criminal acts)
  • Business or political advertisements or solicitations
  • Material that exploits or solicits personal information from individuals under the age of 21
  • Foreign languages
  • Solicitation of multiple or additional partners
  • Unauthorized use of copyrighted or trademarked material
  • Overt sexual innuendo or discussion
  • Individuals under the age of 21

Members sending any of the restricted items listed above will receive an e-mail from info@funlink.com.sg indicating the restriction and rejection.

8. Photos

Our photo guidelines are as follows:

  • No scuba diving, motorcycle shots or anything that covers up your face (We don't want mystery man or woman)
  • Try to pick a solo photo and not one with your friends or family members (We don't want to create confusion for members to mistaken you as someone in the photos.)
  • No photos of cartoon characters or celebrities (You are promoting yourself, not your celebrity)
  • Straight up photo (Don't punish other member by twitting their head sideway to see your photo)
  • No nude, obscene, sexual or otherwise offensive photos
  • Photo file cannot be larger than 1MB
  • Your photo should be saved in JPG/JPEG format

Simply go to 'My photos' in the profile setup page and follow the instructions. Once approved, we may resize or crop your photo(s). If the file's is bigger than 1MB, you need to reduce the size before uploading it. It may take up to 48 hours for your photo to appear on your profile as we need to review it. Once approved, an e-mail notification will be sent to you. If we reject your photo, you'll receive an email informing you why, and we will ask you to upload another photo.

Posting additional photos is quick and easy. For more than 1 photo, simply use the complimentary virtual credit, sign up for our plan or to get more virtual gift to post as many as 5 photos in your profile page. Simply go to 'My photos' in 'Edit my profile' and follow the instructions.

We aim to approve photos within 48 hours. Sometimes, it will be shorter and definitely not longer.

You can post one photo for Free Membership, and another four as subscribed members or when you purchase virtual credit.

You can select a primary photo to appear in your profile. The photo that you select to appear 'In Profile' will be displayed in your profile as well as all search result pages that other FunLinkers will be viewing. Always ensure the photo you select to put 'In Profile' is your best one.

Please email us the photo(s) to it@funlink.com.sg and to explain the problem you encounter.

9. Virtual Credit

Members can use the existing virtual credit to purchase virtual gifts, super nudges or simply exchange for free one month subscription with 1000 virtual credits.

When you sign up for an account, we give you a complimentary virtual credits. You can use this virtual credit to buy virtual gifts. Each time, someone super nudge you, you earn some virtual credits. You can also accumulate these virtual credits to buy funny icons to impress the members. All icons come with a sincerity rate.

There will be a box in the profile page which shows the balance of virtual credit you have.

Yes you can, without subscribing to our plan. The virtual credits allows you to buy more virtual gifts or super nudges and it allows you to gather enough virtual credits for free one month subscription.

Indirectly you can buy 'super nudge' and to nudge them. Every time they receive a super nudge, their popularity will increase and they receive some virtual credit. You cannot simply transfer all the balance virtual credits to them without converting to virtual gifts or super nudge

10. Account Settings

To change your password, go to Setting and look under Change Password. Make sure you write your password somewhere.

Simply go to Setting and look under E-mail. Always re-confirm your new e-mail address before you click on 'save'.

Simply go to 'Edit my profile' and update your new designation.

I'm 23, not 32! Simply go to 'Edit My Profile' and change it.

Simply look for ‘Advance Search’ on your personalized homepage.

Simply go to My Setting and change it. The system will do a search if there is anyone having the same name. If there is, you need to think of another name or to add some number behind to make it unique.

11. Account Cancellation

To completely deactivate your account, simply go to 'My Settings' on your personalized homepage to de-activate it. If you wish to retain your account but simply want to cancel your subscription renewal, please go to my setting under subscription and to update to 'cancel'. The system will prompt you to confirm again after you choose 'cancelled' and saved. If you click a yes, the subscription will be cancelled and it cannot be reversed back. An e-mail notification will be sent to your e-mail address informing you officially that you have cancelled the subscription. Please ensure that your cancellation request is made at least 48 hours before your subscription renewal date. There will not be any refund if cancellation is made after the renewal date.

We apologize that there is not refund if you decide to cancel it before your subscription plan expires. If you cancel your premium Membership after your first month, your subscription will be inactive for the remainder of your initial term. You cannot reverse this process.

Your Free Membership profile is a free service. It will remain on the site until you request us to cancel it. If you don't want your profile to be viewed by other members, you can either use the 'Hide my profile' function on your personalized homepage or a write in to remove the profile completely.

Once your profile is COMPLETELY removed and you want to log in, you need to complete the profile process all over again. There is no short cut.

Yes, provided they know your FunLink ID and your profile is not taken off the site.

Yes. Your profile will appear as long as your profile is not taken off the site and members can continue to conduct searches with criteria that match your profile.

12. Discipline Policy

If there is false declaration, an e-mail notification will be sent to the member and the account will be frozen and deleted permanently.

We do not encourage members to promote their product aggressively. First warning will be issued through e-mail notification with a temporary closure of account for 2 weeks. Repeated offenders will have the whole free account closed permanently. They will be ban from entering the site.

An e-mail notification will be sent to the members with a possible temporary freeze of virtual credit and/or closure of member account for 2 weeks to 1 month. Repeated offender risks the entire account shut down with all subscription plan scrapped and virtual credits balance forfeited.

13. Miscellaneous

If you are having trouble with speed of our site, it's usually one of the three things:

  • Funlink.com.sg may be experiencing technical difficulties so please try again later
  • The connection at your end may be the cause. Double-check your modem settings or connection speed to make sure you're connected at the highest possible internet connection rate
  • The internet itself may be experiencing a traffic jam (e.g. Christmas or New Year Eve)

Try again at another time when the information highway may not be so heavily travelled. If you've done all this and continue to have difficulties, please write to us at it@funlink.com.sg. We are happy to help you.

We are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We endeavor to respond to all email enquiries within 48 hours.

We do not reveal any personal contact information to other members or to any third parties. Only you can choose whom you'd like to share personal contact information with. You do this through your private communications with other members.

It's very important to feel comfortable on a website when you are giving personal information. Our website offers you a peace of mind in a number of different ways:

  • Our Privacy Policy is available at the bottom of any page of our site which outline what information we collect and how we use it.
  • Our Terms of Use is made avaliable on the home page with transparency on the services we provide.
  • Fun Link is registered with ACRA at Registrar No. 53196866M.
  • To give the FunLinkers a peace of mind, we abide to the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) ACT, CPFTA to ensure your data is saved with us.
  • We comply to the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA), Companies Act 2004 (Amendment), Workplace Safety and Heath Act 2006 and the Code of Professional Conduct.
  • We work with CASE to ensure that consumer's rights are protected.

Our Privacy Policy states that we do not sell or disclose your email address to any third party for the purposes of spamming or mailing lists.

When you register with us, we never ask for a credit card number up front. It's free to create a profile and post a photo. Only if you choose to subscribe to our plan or to purchase virtual credit, (allowing you to initiate contact with other members, amongst other great enhancements), would we require payment information.   • Technical Related Enquiry - all technical problems such as photos upload, slow speed and etc
  • Payment Related Enquiry - all payment matters such as credit card statement, subscription plans and etc
  • Suggestions, Feedbacks & Reporting of Spam  - all suggestions, reporting of spam, feedbacks and etc
  • General Enquiry - other enquiries such as advertisement cost, activation of accounts, setting, rejection of photos, texts from FunLink to members or e-mail notification on approved photos and texts and others

Yes. we undertake to comply with the Principles of Redress and Monitoring Mechanism, which include the following:

  • Maintain an adequate system for monitoring complaints so that the appropriate action can be taken to rectify any breach of this code or resolve the member’s complaint.
  • Response and investigate all complaints received within 3 - 5 working days of the receipt of the client’s complaint.
  • If the complaint is complex and the investigation into the complaint cannot be completed within 3 – 5 working days, a written acknowledgement should be sent to the member.
  • Such acknowledgement should contain an indication of when a full investigation can be completed.
  • We should resolve the complaint within an agreed time frame with the members not exceeding 28 days.
  • Where the Fun link’s investigation reveals that there has been a breach of this code, Fun Link shall take all steps necessary to rectify the breach or resolve the complaint.
  • All complaints received are kept strictly confidential.
